See this biryani is such a yum yum creation that once u make it than it is impossible to stay away from this recipe for long. It is super duper easy way to make it.
Just try it once. And remember what I told you…ut is very very easy to make too.
Wait… I made this biryani just now and half cooker of it already gone. But do follow my ingredients or I am not responsible for any mishappenings like less tasty.
2 Cups of Basmati rice washed n soaked
2 Cups of frozen or fresh peas
1/4 Cup desi ghee (butter oil)
1 Tbsp cumin seeds
1/4 Tsp Heeng – Asofoetida
Salt according to your taste
1 Tsp turmeric powder
1 Tsp home made garam masala
2 Tbsp Biryani masala
1 Tbsp cinnamon powder
1 Tbsp green cardamom powder
1 Tbsp cloves powder
3-4 Big garlic cloves crushed or grated
2 Big onions sliced n deep fried to dark brown color like in the picture above.
1- Heat oil in the cooker and add cumin seeds and heeng (asofoetida).
2- Now alongwith peas n rice put everything into it except deep fried onions.
3- Put 5 cups of water in it too.
4- Mix well and take a light boil on high flame.
5- Close the lid and take one whistle on high and three whistles on low.
6- Close the flame.Wait for 10 minutes.
7- Now open the cooker lid and add deep fried onions. Mix well.
8- Close the lid and put on high flame for one minute and close it.
9- Serve it with onion mint raita.
